Tokyo Train

A vibrant photographic journey by train from Kyoto to Tokyo becomes a celebration of, and reflection on, a country in the aftermath of crisis.
Captured by internationally renowned photographic artist Robin Layton just weeks before the 2011 earthquake and tsunami,
the book provides an eloquent vision of the calm before the storm.

Tokyo Train was created to raise funds to help the people of Japan. 100% of the sale of the book will be donated to Japan Society,
a collaboration of Japanese American and Japan related cultural, educational and civic organizations standing together
to promote relief and recovery following the devastating earthquakes and tsunamis in Japan.
